I won the 2016 Jeopardy! College Championship with my correct response for Final Jeopardy! 

The clue: "During his Senate service, which lasted from 1973 to January 2009, this man cast 12,810 votes." I initially thought of people who were in the Senate for a long time and (West Virginia Senator) Robert Byrd came to mind. However, at the last second a light bulb went off in my head when I remembered when President Obama was inaugurated and responded with "Who is Joe Biden?" It's crazy to think that a sudden a-ha moment won me the College Championship.

The best part was that Joe Biden happens to be a big fan of Jeopardy! , because not only did he tweet a picture of that Final Jeopardy!, he sent me a personal letter of congratulations. It's crazy to think that the Vice President of the United States takes time to watch Jeopardy!, and for a day, he was watching me on TV instead of the other way around.
