The days are getting shorter, the nights are getting cooler, and…the kids are getting smarter! It must be time for Back to School Week on Jeopardy! Tune in from October 2nd through the 6th and watch some of the brightest 10 to 12-year-olds you're ever likely to meet.
This year the Jeopardy! contestant team traveled to cities all across the United States including Portland, OR, St. Louis, MO, Indianapolis, IN, Orlando, FL, Minneapolis, MN, Boston, MA, New York, NY, Chicago, IL, and Washington, DC, and they found some truly extraordinary young people: an award-winning diver, a future journalist, a nano-technologist, and more.
The winner of each show keeps the money he or she wins, with a minimum guarantee of $10,000. In addition to the cash prizes, each of the 15 students will select a school to receive "Classroom Jeopardy!," an electronic version of the show which can be tailored by educators to suit their specific curriculum.
